My name is Mustafa Utku Tornaci, and my relationship with health started in childhood — with an epilepsy diagnosis that changed everything.
Like so many families, mine searched for answers beyond medication. That search led us to the ketogenic diet, and it became the turning point in my story. Through careful, committed keto living, I was able to dramatically reduce and manage my seizures. What began as a medical necessity grew into a lifelong fascination with how food shapes the body and brain.
Today, I still follow a ketogenic lifestyle paired with intermittent fasting to support my overall health, energy, and wellbeing.
But I haven't forgotten how hard it was, especially as a kid. The restrictions, the social pressure at birthday parties and school lunches, the constant need for consistency — it can feel overwhelming for any family. That's exactly why I created this space.
My mission is simple: make the ketogenic journey more sustainable, flexible, and achievable for children and families walking this path.
Here, I share practical guidance on staying in ketosis, building supportive daily habits, and improving long-term adherence. I also explore tools like exogenous ketones and ketone salts, which can offer real flexibility for families who struggle to stay consistent on stricter versions of the diet.
I'm a firm believer that nutrition is only part of the picture. Exercise, sleep, and balanced routines all work together to support ketosis, reduce seizure frequency, and improve quality of life.
For me, this isn't just a diet — it's a mission. I want to give other families the knowledge, tools, and encouragement they need to take charge of their health and move forward with confidence.
